BODY LANDSCAPES FESTIVAL 3RD WEEK

 

 

Ignacio Perez Perez (Venezuela) and Ellen Friis (Denmark)

During the third week of the festival, we had connected two artists from two different latitudes of the world. Ellen Friis, who is a Danish performance artist, always researching for new ways of conceptualizing knowledge. Her performances stroll between different areas such as mathematics, video, history, and theater. Ignacio Perez is similar to a walking shaman. He converts walking into a ritual or a sacred experience of contemplation. These two artists developed a workshop where they had combined their ideas into a mosey experience. The workshops had a very interesting ending with a performance night on Friday 20th of October.
